Ritual Planning
Suggest optional prayers and rituals, and prepare petitions for our weekend Liturgies. Requirements: Monthly meeting, basic knowledge of liturgy and/or willingness to learn, weekly reading of scripture.

Music
Youth and adults who love to sing and or have a particular musical talent, including keyboard, brass, string or wind instrument, or percussion.
Requirements for:

Choir members rehearse weekly and sing at one weekend liturgy

Cantors & Leaders of Song rehearse monthly & are scheduled for weekend liturgies

Musicians rehearse depending on upcoming liturgies or special events

Occasional members for Christmas & Easter rehearse weekly 6 to 8 weeks

Eucharistic Ministers
Adults assist in sharing the Body and Blood of Christ during Liturgy. Requirements: complete 4 evening or 2 Saturday sessions provided by the Diocesan School of Liturgy, scheduled 2 or 3 times a year depending on availability.

Visiting Eucharistic Ministers
Ministers who bring communion to parish shut-ins and hospitalized parishioners.
Requirements: must be Eucharistic Minister (see above requirements).

Environment & Art
Help prepare our worship spaces for weekend Liturgies. Requirements: any or all of the following--love of the liturgy, a general sense of the seasons of the Church Year, green thumb, artistic ability, enjoy cleaning, or sewing skills; Saturday morning set-up or occasional help on major holidays.

Lectors
Those who find joy in proclaiming the Word of God. Training is done here at the parish and resource materials are made available.

Altar Servers
The ministry of Altar Serving is open to children from grade 4 and adults. Families are encouraged to serve at the Altar together. There are three training sessions.

Hospitality - Greeters & Ushers
Do you have a generous and warm heart and enjoy serving others. Perhaps this ministry is for you. Greeters welcome God's people to worship, distribute hymnals, bulletins, etc. and are scheduled once or twice a month.

Children's Liturgy of the Word
Catechists gather with youngsters 4 years to 2nd grade to participate in a sharing of scripture on their level every Saturday during the 8:30 AM Liturgy. Children gather as usual for Liturgy with their family. After the Opening Prayer, they are sent to the Catechetical Center to listen to the Scriptures. The children return to the main assembly for the Liturgy of the Eucharist during the Preparation of the Altar. Catechists needed to help the children share the Sunday scripture readings. High School students who are interested in sharing the Word will be given prior instruction.
